FAQ
How do you describe your newborn sessions?
I'm a lifestyle photographer, so the majority of photographs I take are beautifully candid. For newborn sessions, this means a whole lot of you just loving on your baby. I will give you gentle prompts such as to snuggle into your baby, or to sing to your baby, and I simply stand back and capture the love and the emotion. This can happen in your home, or outdoors, and I can bring an array of beautiful, quality wraps, quilts and headbands.
How do in-home sessions work?
In-home sessions have my heart, because I love that I'm also subtly capturing the details of your home in this season of your life. It doesn't matter whether your nursery looks like it's out of a magazine or the bassinet is tucked somewhere between your bed and Mt Washmore; your baby is going to one day cherish these details. I usually photograph in the nursery, main bedroom and lounge room, as all of these spaces make for cosy, cuddly photographs. The sky is the limit though - if you have a rocking chair on the veranda, or a cubby house your babe will grow into, I want to photograph it.
Are you vaccinated?
Yes, absolutely. I also have a young family of my own. If any of us are sick as your session date approaches, I will not hesitate to reschedule. Nothing is more important to me than the safety of your baby and your family.
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an email with a link to your private online viewing gallery within 2-3 weeks of your session.
How do we design our album?
Once you've received your private online viewing gallery, you can select the images you wish to be included in your album. Your gallery is then sent to our album designer Mel from Chocolate Beige Designs, who creates absolute magic with it! You will be able to view an online proof, and can request changes if necessary. Once approved, you will receive your album within 3-4 weeks.
Do we need to pay a deposit?
Yes. All of my sessions require a 20% deposit to secure your booking and your chosen date. Once you are ready to book, I will email an invoice with the payment details.
